Delete and Copy

To delete a shape, simply click on it (to select it) and then press the Delete key.

Grafikilo 16 understands the control commands which are common to most text editors: Cut, Copy and Paste. These commands are activated by typing a key (x, c, or v) while holding down the control key (Ctrl).

For example, click on a shape to select it. (In the screenshot below, the blue arrow is selected.) Next type Ctrl-x to cut it. The shape will be removed from the drawing, but Grafikilo 16 will remember it.

If you then type Ctrl-v, the shape will be pasted into its previous position. You can make as many copies as you want by repeatedly typing Ctrl-v.

Copy (Ctrl-c) is similar to Cut. If you select a shape and type Ctrl-c, Grafikilo 16 will remember the shape, but it will not remove the original from the drawing.
